The Fourth of July is one of the few days where people across the nation gather together with their communities to celebrate and enjoy the day with their families. For years the town of Idaho Falls has rallied behind its awe-inspiring fireworks display, which is nationally renowned for being the largest fireworks display west of the Mississippi River.

The Greenbelt on the Snake River - Idaho Falls has preserved an area we call the "Greenbelt." With a 6-mile paved trail, joggers, cyclists and pedestrians alike are offered a view of the local wildlife as well as the falls.
The Museum of Idaho has established itself as a "must see" with nationally acclaimed exhibits like A T. Rex Named Sue, Prehistoric Worlds: Backyard Discoveries, The world of Lewis and Clark and Space Journey. From local exhibits of the city's foundings by fur traders and trappers, to the artifacts of the pioneers, special events and speakers make your experience at the Museum of Idaho like none other.
Chuckars Baseball kick back with some peanuts and Cracker Jacks at historic McDermott Field, home of minor league baseball's Idaho Falls Chukars. As a single-A, short-season affiliate of the Kansas City Royals organization, the Idaho Falls franchise has represented eastern Idaho since 1939.
LDS Idaho Falls Temple - Standing on the banks of the Snake River, just above the cascading waters for which the city is named, the gleaming white Idaho Falls Idaho Temple serves as a centerpiece to the city. Just east of the temple is a gorgeous garden and public visitors' center featuring films, displays, multimedia presentations, and an awe-inspiring reproduction of Thorvaldsen's Christus statue.
Tautphaus Park Zoo home to over 300 animals from six continents, the Tautphaus Park Zoo is roaring for attention. Its tree covered paths lead you from Bactrian Camels past African Lions to Australian Wallabies. Explore exhibits like the Primate Discovery Center and Asian Adventure. Whatever your interest, you are sure to have a wild time at the "best little zoo in the west."
